Where it all began
A family tradition, made to be shared.
Jalsa Kitchen began with a mother’s treasured recipes, rooted in homestyle Gujarati cooking and the flavours of East African Indian cuisine. Five beloved favourites started it all:
- Samosas
- Kachori
- Farsi puri
- Chakri
- Heart-shaped thepla
What started as a small expression of family tradition grew through word of mouth into a kitchen for weddings, celebrations and tables across the community. Every order remains rooted in warm, comforting food made to be shared.
